One construction project has in the catchment area of some of our guest houses been announced. Furthermore we would like to inform you. 

Oct. 10 - Feb. 12: Dismantling and erection of a town house in Hauptstr. 5a-7/corner Heinrichstr.

It is expected that work will start to the beginning of October 2010 on the Hauptstrasse 5a-7/corner Heinrichstrasse. Please watch for details about the location the graphics below. Here will a building dismantled and afterwards building workers have to erect two new building on the same site. The planned construction period is one year, from October 2010 to February 2012.

Which of our guest apartments in the Dresden's Baroque District could be affected by the construction works?
The guest apartments HEINRICH and LINGNER in the Heinrichstrasse 5, 01097 Dresden, are located in the periphery of the construction area. The guest apartment CANALETTO (more precisely, the entrance Obergraben No. 15) is just as far away, however, this apartment is located in a protected courtyard. So, these apartments are not directly opposite or adjacent to the site, are rather peripherally affected by the Construction Management. Noise and dust pollution during the construction activities may temporarily affect the comfort of living in the guest apartments.

When construction activities are expected?
It is expected that construction work will be starting to begin of October 2010. In accordance with the laws, the site manager has to secure the operation of the construction site by less noise and less dust as possible and only on weekdays 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. (in December 10 an Winter 11 probably will be finished at 6 p.m.) the works during this operating period. It may happen that the guests in the guest apartments perceive sounds from this construction site and temporary restrictions on the access into the Street.

How and when will we inform our guests or tenants about this projects?
In our offers on the website www.dresden-central.de and in our offers by Email, we refer since 14th of August 2010 with a link to the website „Construction Sites in Dresden's Baroque District“ to inform interested people in our apartments about this building project and its possible impact on the living conditions in the environment of the construction site.

Guests who have booked a guest apartment before the 1st of October 2010
For guests, who have already booked the apartment HEINRICH or apartment LINGNER for the time frame while the works occur and before the 1st of October, it is possible for them to cancel up to 7 days without any payment for liquidated damages to the landlord before the day of arrival or we offer during their stay compensations or discounts of up to 10% of the total rental charge.

Guests who have booked a guest apartment after the 1st of October 2010
Guests, who have already booked the apartment HEINRICH or apartment LINGNER for the time frame while the works occur and after the 1st of October, receive on this website current and sufficient information on the proposed or ongoing building construction or road works. This informations about the living conditions in the surroundings of the apartment are in our view finally sufficient for a decision for a booking or against a booking of a guest apartment in Dresden's Baroque Distrct.

For us it is very important to host satisfied guests in our apartments and so we want to inform them about the building projects on time. Our range of services for your pleasant stay in our guest apartments is not affected by these construction projects.
